Interior painters are facing some of the boldest new color trends in years, while exterior painters find themselves heading back to the basics. Interior Painters – Blues are featuring prominently in designs everywhere this year. Other bright colors are also definitely in vogue, such as the Pantone Color of the Year for 2014, an arrestingly vivid shade of violet known as Radiant Orchid. Grays are providing much of the neutral offset, with the omnipresent black and white basics filling in any gaps.

Exterior painters – Exterior painters on the other hand, find themselves heading back towards simpler, earlier design trends. Cream, stucco, and brick are all popular for the exterior façade, and coastal colored gray and blue trim is also in fashion. The use of a statement door is also something that you can consider, to give your home that extra decorative touch and spice things up just a bit.
